A computer is simply a different tool. It won't replace the camera entirely but, just as digital photography didn't completely take over film. The CG artists you describe just aren't very good. A computer is simply a different tool. It won’t replace the camera entirely but, just as digital photography didn’t completely take over film. The CG artists you describe just aren’t very good. Like anything, some people are better than others. In time, hard surface photography will exclusively generate elements. Sorry to be a heretic!
