There’s not much to say, except that this is AMAZING and you must watch this if you are a photographer who intends to move forward with your image making.

The app is beautiful, both in aesthetically and functionally. Is this an engine Adobe will license to other publishers to distribute content on the iPad? I’m wondering why Apple
didn’t announce such a platform alongside the iPad at launch, and if they’re working on one now.
I just seems like something Apple would do, with their “keep it in the family” in regards to their other hardware/software.
    Anyway, I’m rambling.

The presentation is just as sleek and gorgeous as anyone would have hoped when rumors first started getting concrete about the tablet. Makes me excited to get started, and less unnerved by all of the imploding paper periodicals.

As for pricing– why should anything change? I don’t see how prices should go down; if anything content would probably get licensed for longer periods of time so that back-issues could remain accessible in a digital archive for who knows how long.

And I can definitely see people paying for this kind of content delivery, if other magazines put as much into it as Wired has.

…now I just have to find the cash to buy this thing.
