This week, Getty will launch Thinkstock, a subscription-based royalty-free image service that combines RF images from Getty and Jupiter with iStockphoto images. As a contributing photographer to Getty Images, I often get e-mails announcing that edits are going to be tighter and that the number of accepted images per submission will decrease unless a photographer performs a tight edit.
