Shout-out to photojournalists on the ground in Haiti
I’ve been heartened by the donations that are pouring into Haiti from everyone I know, and I believe that it is the images, more than the words, that tear at our heartstrings and compel us to help in any way we can.

And some amazing videographers to recognize too: Students at Cine Institute in Jacmel, Haiti, outside Port-Au-Prince, were able to rescue camera equipment from their destroyed school, and have been reporting out. An affiliate here has been placing their reports in the American media. http://www.cineinstitute.com/news/
