Shooting Stills and Video at the same time is tricky
I just got finished with a shoot at a resort in the Outer Banks of NC. The idea going into the shoot was to set up for stills and “b-roll” video at the same time. If we light the interiors with hot lights balanced for daylight, I reasoned, then we could shoot stills and video at the same time, or at least set up for the same shots.
It worked, sort of….
