I think the key here is communication. Discuss the shoot with the shooter first and early. Then you can gauge whether the shoot might run overtime or not. Communicate, talk, discuss. Make sure everyone is on the same page. That’s key.

I would much rather lose out on two hours of overtime pay than not be called back for the next job!
