Best purchase I ever made. I adore my kindle! I read 14 books while I was abroad, that never could have been done without the kindle. I have also found some incredible new authors by taking advantage of the free books, of course I have read some free duds as well, but that's to be expected. I personally would be more inclined to purchase a 9 dollar book from an author I know to be good than to pay 9 bucks for a new author that has not be recommended by someone or by amazon. I would definitely pay for another book by some of the authors that I was introduced to by a free kindle book.
